Well I've seen a lot of things and I've done a lot of stuff
(drinks from a shot glass)
I've been around the world and it hasn't been enough I need to find an outlet for the confines of my brain
Something very different or I might just go insane
I wish that there were cities out on the planet Mars
I wish that all the insects drove around in little cars
I think that I would like to see invaders from Outer space
I wouldn't mind if they took charge of the entire place
Cause,
Boredom's setting in and there's not much left to do
I've used up my adrenalin in search of what is new
I've watched kids jump on bungee cords
And stick stuff in their brains
I watched as couples balance
in the most peculiar ways
I've seen some acts where some might die
 But it's all so passé,
I want to see something that moves beyond risqué
Hmmmmmm
Contortion and some magic, perhaps a clown or two
We put them on this stage now, here, in front of you
The wierdos and the freaks who live their lives this way
Why they like to do it , no one can really say We beg that you indulge us, this is how we are
Each and every one of us, wants to be the star
We'll show you something different, something old, or something new
Oddities and Curiosities, would like to welcome you.

A mad confusion in my head reminds me that I am not dead it turns all colours into red and I fear I cannot see when I walk its more like stumble down the path I always tumble deep inside I feel a rumble That no one knows but me I try to stop and collect my senses Climbing over mental fences everything in present tenses That just won't let me be. Madness takes control where there was once a life is just a great big hole it seems to me that I can see a place that i would rather be a voyage to infinity this madness has a grip on me i see the ghosts that walk around and i am sure that I have found the reason why they make a sound that just wont let me be searching through the darknest night all i seem to do is fight all the demons and their might i just want to be free they chase me everywhere I go and All i really want to know is will they open a door below and do i hold the key Madness...in my head it's the only thing that stops me from sleeping in my bed they're always there and I do not dare, it's something that I cannpt bear i shouldn't even really care cause one day I'll be dead

The Hospital 01:49

about

Oddities and Curiosities is the soundtrack to a film. I like to be able to see everything in its complete form in my mind before embarking on a concrete visual adventure. For me the best way to do this is through music. As the scenes for the script unfold, I begin to sculpt the atmospheres and moods that colour the backgrounds and endow the audience member with a sense of place. For this particular treatment certain elements and descriptions have been left out so that the listener can fill them in for themselves. What characters look like, what kind of settings does the action take place in, how are characters interacting are mostly left to the imagination with anchors for my bigger idea placed along the way.

As the story begins, an old man sits in a chair and starts to speak of his memories. He recalls being in a psychiatric hospital as a young man. As his incarceration unfolds, he doesn't believe that he should be there and is being held against his will as a political prisoner. He has no memory of the events leading to his admission to the hospital. After careful observation, he manages to escape through a series of fortunate events and finds himself on a cold snowy and very busy road wearing nothing but a flimsy hospital gown.
